Lawson is 20 Months Old!

Really? That is something that is so hard to believe. We still call him the baby, and I still catch myself calling him my 18 month old. But really, he is closer to 2 than he is to 1 :( Time goes way too fast. Here are some things he's been up to lately:

He loves his dogs. We catch him riding them and pointing to their eyes, ears, and noses quite often.

Nick's new nickname for Lawson is "Linus" from Charlie Brown. Lawson sucks his thumb, carries his blankie, and is ALWAYS dirty just like Linus.
Hiding is one of his favorite games. He finds really good hiding places like behind my clothes in the closet or behind a pile of pillows. He gets really quiet and sits really still when he hides.
Dancing is another favorite. These pictures are from the same time when he's hiding and carrying around his music. His dances are hysterical, I'll have to post one soon.
I know he's mine so I'm partial, but he's still beautiful too.
Other things about Lawson:
* He's the little runt. Although he's older than Briley was during the winter season, all of Briley's clothes swallow him.
* He loves to spin to make himself dizzy and climb on anything. He's definitely the little daredevil.
* He is into anything and everything. He very rarely plays with toys and would rather make a huge mess.
* He is less of the angel that he used to be. He knows how to express his demands and will scream if they aren't heard.
* He learned how to blow his nose! Yay! No sucky thing! That is almost as good of a milestone as potty training.
* Speaking of potty training. Briley was just getting started at this age and fully potty trained and in big boy undies by his 2nd birthday. Lawson, umm no. I don't think we'll be starting that for a while.
* Loves Santa Claus, he calls him Ho Ho just like Briley and was skipping line to visit him at the mall.
* Loves Elmo "ni ni".
* Loves his brother. Their little relationship is about the cutest thing ever. Well, it IS the cutest thing ever.
* Words and phrases: on and off are the big things now b/c of Christmas lights, light, Shu-shu (while holding his nose for a stinky diaper), phone
There are a ton more but I just can't think of them. He's talking so much more and really communicating well with us. My favorite is when he talks on the phone to someone, he points around and jibber jabbers like he is saying the most important thing ever.

Lawson, we love you so much. You make our little family so happy and complete.
