We started the day off getting ready for Briley's birthday party. We blew up balloons, set up all the games, and even made a Wrecking Ball pinata.
I couldn't believe how long the balloons kept the boys entertained that morning.
The result!
When the boys arrived, they received a VIP Skylanders tag. They had games set up for each Skylanders level.
The first game was Zap's Target Shoot Out, B's favorite one.
Then we moved on to Double Trouble's Silly String Battle. It was the magic level, and the best thing I could think of since I'm not a magician. It was funny how some of the boys had never seen silly string before. They had a blast with this one!
Then we went inside to recharge with some pizza and drinks.
When we went back out, we did the balloon challenges. First they had to keep their balloons in the air the longest without touching them for the air level. Then they had a relay to sit and pop them the quickest for the undead level.
Then it was cupcakes and ice cream for the fire level!
The boys had so much fun. I love these! Their laughs were from some sort of pooting or burping comment that somebody had. Boys!
I have to say, it was fun doing the party with just the two of us. Instead of entertaining the parents, we got to play with the kids the whole time. Nick was awesome and such a huge help with everything. It was a great little party, and the boys have talked about it for days!
