Destin: Day 6

Day 6 was way laid back.  Lawson had been up all night congested, and I ended up putting him in bed with us.  You KNOW that it's a bad night if that happens.  I can't sleep with kids in bed with me.  Anyway, we didn't think much of it and headed to get a good breakfast at Another Broken Egg Cafe.  Well, while we were waiting, Lawson got worse and worse.  I could feel he was starting to run a fever.  Nick ran to Walgreens to get some medicine, and Lawson fell asleep while we were eating.  (FYI - BEST breakfast EVER.  It was one of my favorite meals of the trip.)
Here's the poor guy leaving breakfast. Photobucket We stayed in most of the afternoon while Briley and Daddy did the pool and beach. He took a long nap and was feeling better that night. We went to McGuires. Again. Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket PhotobucketPhotobucket

Destin: Day 5

The boys made friends with another family with several boys on our balcony. They went to the beach the same time as us and finally got to play together. Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Little bit loved jumping the waves. Photobucket Until we'd get knocked under water :) Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket After the beach we went to the sprinkler park. Photobucket Photobucket There's something about boys spraying water down their pants. Photobucket Photobucket That night we walked on the marina to see the boats and fish while we waited a LONG time for Dewey Destin. Nick complained, but I promise their scallops are so worth the wait. Destin: Day 4

Water park day! Last year B was about 1/2 inch too short for some of the bigger slides, so he knew his exact height this time! Both boys were soooo excited for slides. Photobucket Little Bit was excited for the pirate ship. He got to ride lots of slides too. He was a little nervous on the first one but got a huge smile going down. Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket I didn't take the camera out of the locker while we were there, but here are some after pics 5 hours later. It was a LONG day! Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket We came home for Lawson's nap and then headed out for a late dinner. Photobucket Photobucket We went to B's favorite, the Crazy Lobster. Photobucket Lawson devoured some oysters. Photobucket No more pictures! Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Lawson loved his beads! Photobucket Briley always picks this place because of the live band. They dance here every year. This year he didn't hit the dance floor much, but Lawson owned it! He had a little fan club. Photobucket He looked like such a little stud dancing. Photobucket It was a fun night and an exhausting day!

Destin: Day 3

We started every day at the beach. Let me tell you, this is huge for us. Salt and sand can only be tolerated for so long, but we actually really enjoyed it this year. The boys woke up asking to go to the pool, but they quickly forgot about it once we hit the beach. This was our first time going in June/July in a while and it was soooo much more crowded than August or May. One of the joys of now having a school age child, no more school year trips :( Photobucket The boys built Bowser's castle in the sand. Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket While mommy enjoyed her morning Bloody Mary, yummmm. Photobucket Pouty beach face. Photobucket Photobucket Mommy found baby clams Photobucket Photobucket And got buried in the sand Photobucket Then we came back to the condo for lunch and silly faces. Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Then it was off to the pool and lazy river Photobucket Where the boys did more waterfall jumping Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket and some Lawson throwing which gave mommy panic attacks. Photobucket and flipping. crazy Photobucket Dinner! Photobucket We went down to the HarborWalk that night. Photobucket Mommy gave the pirate a kiss and daddy got hooked protecting me :) Photobucket We had dinner at an new place, Crab Island Cantina. Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket We're a tad bit crazy.
