Activity Center

We finally pulled Briley's old activity center out of the attic. He still loved it and pulled up a chair to teach Lawson all about it!

Amazed!

This teething stuff is not going so well. After Lawson cut his first tooth, we gave him Tylenol and he slept all night. However, 3 days later, he's woken up each night since. I can tell that his second one is about to break skin, so I'm thinking that's the problem. Hopefully he'll be better once that one comes through. We go to the beach on Saturday, so I'm really hoping things settle down before then!

First Tooth

Oh yes, Lawson cut his first tooth today. I couldn't believe it! Maybe that explains why he's been waking at night recently.

Prayers

So Nick gets really annoyed with the fact that I love reading other people's blogs, and yes, I admit, sometimes I don't know them. However, I love hearing about other families with children our kids' ages. Anyway, one of my favorite blogs, the Larkin Triplets, had a link to this family's blog, The Martinos. They recently lost one of their 17 month old twin boys. He passed away one night after having a fever, and they still don't know why. I cannot imagine, nor ever want to know the pain this family is going through. They need lots of prayers, so if you have time, please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Cereal

Since Lawson is 4 months old, he gets to start practicing solids. So we started cereal this week. (Briley likes to get his cereal when Lawson eats. However, he choses Coco Puffs :) )

4 Month Checkup

Our sweet baby boy is 4 months old. We had his checkup/shots today, and here's an update on how our little guy is growing:

Height: 25 inches
Weight: 15 lb. 14 oz.
I was way surprised by his weight, even though he started out bigger than Briley, Briley weighed 16.7 lb at his 4 month check up.

* Can play on his tummy and hold head up nicely.
* Loves watching his brother.
* Jumps in his jumparoo.
* Has tons of tickle spots and will belly laugh.
* Rolls from tummy to back.
* Giggles, coos, makes lots of new sounds, sucks his bottom lip to make noise, play coughs, blows raspberries.

Pool Day

Briley has a blast at the Germantown Center pool. This was our first time to take Daddy.

Of course, Lawson was a good baby too. We are so lucky to have such a good baby! I don't know what we'd do without this seat.

Have I said that I love my new camera?

Just in case I haven't, I do! I'm obsessed with taking pictures of the boys! Here are some of my recent favorites.

Waterpark

I love taking the boys to the waterpark. It's pretty easy to take them myself. Lawson sits really nicely in his rocking chair while we watch Briley play, and Briley runs out all of his energy so he can take a good nap!

On our last visit, I had the boys all packed up and ready to go. Lawson was ready for his nap, Briley was pitching a fit b/c he didn't want to leave, it was 95 degrees, Nick was out of town, and my car wouldn't start! Needless to say I was stressed. Luckily there were some really nice people there that day. One lady held Lawson for me while I searched for a daddy with jumper cables among the sea of mommies. Luckily I found one, and we had the car started within 5 minutes. We made it home, both boys took a good nap, and I survived!
