It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Between the new house, my parents coming in town, and Briley constantly asking about Christmas, I couldn't resist pulling out some Christmas decorations. We are still waiting to put up the tree but the lights are up, garland is hung, and Christmas village is arranged. Here's a peek:


My favorite thing at night is going to turn off all of the lights. Everyone is asleep and the only lights left on are on the stairs, where Madelaine is always curled up. It always makes me feel warm and peaceful.
