Spring Break

Spring Break was so much fun this year!  We normally don't go anywhere for spring break, but now that we have 1 kiddo in real school, going on a spring break trip is a fun break.  This year we rented a cabin with 4 other families.  We had a total of 5 families, 12 kids, 22 people in all in our cabin.  It sounds crazy, but it was really awesome!

The cabin had a playroom with a pool table and video games.  We also brought washers for the dads and more video games for the kids.  The hot tub was a huge hit with everyone.  We planned on hiking during the day and doing a family vs. family scavenger hunt in town, but it ended up snowing the entire trip!  It made our view absolutely gorgeous.  We went to an indoor water park one day, but other than that we just hung out at the cabin.  The kids kept themselves entertained and happy the whole time.  We cooked awesome dinners at night, and when the kiddos went to sleep we stayed up and played games or went to the hot tub.  I couldn't imagine a better trip with a better group of friends.  We are so thankful for the great friends that we've made here!  (There is not order to these pictures.  I'm just happy that I'm finally blogging them!)

Soccer

Lawson is playing his first season of soccer. He has scored 2 goals. Some days he likes it, some days he doesn't. But he looks so stinking adorable in his soccer uniform!  It has been fun watching 3 and 4 year olds play again!

Easter

We had a fun Easter weekend.  On Saturday, we went to the town Easter egg hunt.  It was more like, throw a bunch of eggs in a square and see how many you can get and my camera died.  So we came home a did a real Easter egg "hunt" outside.  There was even a golden egg!  That night the boys dyed Easter eggs.

Easter morning was a crazy rush.  They did their egg hunt, checked out their Easter baskets, and then we rushed to church.  That afternoon we went to see The Croods and eat dinner with friends.  It was a great day!

Jumping

We got the boys a trampoline a few weeks ago.  The lived on it all weekend!

2 days later it looked like this...

lesson learned.  Anchor your trampoline to the ground immediately after putting it up.  Trampoline #2 is was supposed to be assembled this weekend, but there are supposed to be more storms on Sunday.  I'm not sure if we're ready to test the anchors quite yet!

B at 4

I haven't compared the boys at the same age in forever. With Lawson's 4th birthday coming up, I thought I'd pull some pics. I remember thinking he was so big at this age, and now he looks like a baby!
